The Mindful Hiking Experience
Ignite your senses. Invite your entire being to be invigorated, and relaxed all at once. Imagine yourself in the mountains of Colorado, surrounded by a chorus of songful birds, burbling rivers, and rustling Aspen. This is more than a hike; it’s an opportunity to reconnect with nature. Immerse your senses in the world you’ve forgotten.
Come along with hiking, meditation guide, and certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide Angel Massie. You’ll begin the morning with centering, breath work, then move mindfully across the land. After a relaxing hike through the forest, we’ll find a spot to sit, and meditate, using your five senses as a guide. You’ll then learn to saunter on the land like the animals do, leaving the human world behind, and relieving the stresses of the modern world. After, we’ll convene with a group talk around the fire, where you’re invited to briefly share your experience, or mindfully listen as stories are told.
Local Colorado brewed tea, and refreshments to end the experience. We offer full, and half-day hikes for all experience levels in the iconic Rocky Mountain National Park, the Boulder Flatirons, Eagle County, Jefferson County, and Douglas County Open Space trails.
