About Brown Family Ranch:
Brown Family Ranch, led by Emma Brown, is a working ranch that offers 40 acres with trails, a large outdoor arena, and lots of space for outdoor activities. From trail riding and riding lessons, and a great venue for events, the Brown Family has offered a strikingly scenic space for folks to enjoy for 21 years. We see the importance of offering a place for folks to reconnect with their food and land through ranching, farming and equestrianism. By providing an encouraging, accessible, and fun environment to go on a trail ride or simply spend time in nature with horses, we believe that we can secure the future of these industries by sharing what we love.
About the Wranglers:
Our wranglers are professionals who were raised in the equine industry and sought to change the discrimination with class/race and age, working to create more equal access and opportunity within the industry for all. More often than not, the equine industry harbors abusive practices to horses and people who do not fit the mold, due to lack of education. We work to change that and create a space where diverse faces belong. All wranglers train both Western and English, teach lessons, and train horses onsite on our ranch. We seek to provide the most fun experience and can’t wait to ride with you!
Safety:
*Each wrangler is CPR/ first aid certified and has a first aid kit and radios. Transportation to the trailhead for offsite rides is not provided.
