Fly Fishing Guide
Eeland Stribling is an angler, educator, wildlife biologist and a stand up comedian born and raised in Denver Colorado. He has a passion for conservation and comedy and advocates for outdoor education. Grew up learning about wildlife and ecosystem services with his grandfather who was also a wildlife biologist. He picked up flyfishing by learning to tie flies first, in college. Eeland graduated with a degree in Fish, Wildlife and Conservation biology. No one in his family was “outdoorsy” besides his grandfather so Eeland created his own path to be in the outdoors.
– While receiving his degree, Eeland started volunteering with kids clinics. He passed along his passion to youth and BIPOC communities as an outdoor educator, “you can’t be what you can’t see”. He works with Cottonwood Institute and other outdoor education agencies in, and around Denver.
– Eeland is the East Slope Angler Representative for the Colorado Wildlife Council, and is the recent recipient of the 2024 African Americans Who Make A Difference award. He is the conservation and education director of Brown Folks Fishing, non-profit to build community through fishing and conservation BIPOC anglers and anyone else. Normalizing loving nature in the black community is fishing is one of Eeland’s personal goals. In the past few years Eeland has become a voice for people who want to mix of fishing, stand up comedy, conservation & outreach.

Eeland will be guiding fly fishing experiences on the Front Range and beyond for Wanderland, as well as exclusive birding experiences in Rocky Mountain National Park.
