“GOLD MEDAL” STANDARD OF SERVICE

Emma Brown
Founding Guide

Emma Brown grew up in Colorado, where she started riding horses at age 4 on her family’s ranch, and continued to compete in Western and English disciplines. She picked up a fly rod not long after, and has been fly fishing ever since! Emma worked as a Firefighter/EMT for 4 years before pursuing her passion in ranching, as well as backcountry and wilderness guiding.

She has worked with Colorado Trout Unlimited since 2016, and currently sits on the Board of Directors, seeing the importance of being a conservation dedicated guide. In 2019 Emma began working as a fly fishing guide, and started her own horse business leading trail rides, teaching lessons and training horses in an effort to create a ranch and ranch team that values diversifying the equestrian industry, while still providing high quality horsemanship, training and program horses.

Since then, she has guided all over the front range while managing her ranch business in Longmont, CO. Emma is dedicated to engaging folks of all walks of life to the great outdoors by way of fly rod, or in the saddle.

This summer, she’ll be offering guided fly fishing trips, backcountry trail rides, and trail rides to fishing along the Front Range.

Emma Brown is the head wrangler, and owner of Brown Family Ranch. While managing the ranch, she also serves as a back country fly fishing guide, and wilderness guide, traversing the rivers and waterways all over the Front Range.

She values diversifying the equestrian industry, and provides high quality horsemanship, training, and program horses. Emma is dedicated to engaging folks of all walks of life to the great outdoors by way of fly rod, or in the saddle.
